My Inspiration
A child’s imagination is amazing! In this book, Hmm…I Wonder?, little Gus gets a new idea and his mind quickly takes off like a shooting rocket! Author and illustrator Jessica Gale Hoeschen has loved teaching Kindergarten for the past 22 years and gets a kick out of the way kids think. She is mesmerized by their never-ending imagination, so she creates her lessons around that type of wondrous thinking. Her book was based on her fun lessons to help her students enjoy learning and retain information easily. In this cute and quirky book, little Gus takes you on a wild adventure with his Papa as he wonders about the primary and secondary colors in a funny way using delicious fruits and vegetables. Jessica hopes you enjoy this BIG adventure with little Gus and that he inspires your little one’s imagination to run wild.

Jessica Gale Hoeschen lives in beautiful Northern California and loves to travel and do historical research for fun, (yes, she is a true historian at heart and loves it!) You can often find her hiking in nature and brainstorming new story ideas for her series, Adventures with Gus! She is currently working on the next book.
